7. SUMMARY

   
  Obviously I'm in favor of reducing the study of tools such as metering skills in favor of spending much more time on general theory and on learning to really communicate with the preclear.

It is important for the student to know what he is doing and why he is doing it. He should be capable of bringing about case gain by means of communication alone. If his understanding is good enough, he should be capable of applying these out of session as well and bringing about changes in life and livingness.

The fancy metering skills, control, and precision are all best left until more advanced levels.
