How to Prep-check
Prep-checking is a is a type of process that can be used to do a general clean-up of a subject. It has, in one form or another, been used since the 1960s. You can Prep-check subjects the pc has troubles with or charge on, like 'cats', 'mother-in-law's', 'money', 'opposite sex', 'education', 'your childhood', etc., etc. It gets the rudiments in solid in the area. You can also Prep-check a time period, like: Since last October'. It uses buttons to accomplish that.
'Prep-check' means a preparatory check. Some definitions for Prep-check are: The purpose of Prep-checking is to set up a pc's rudiments so they will stay in during further clearing of the Bank. And: Thorough use of the Prep-check buttons will blow the charge from a selected subject, time period or item.
The Prep-check uses a number of buttons. It is much like the use of buttons you apply to see if a rudiment question or process is charged. But here this is not a check, but the process you run.
A question is formed around each button and the question with that button is run repetitively to F/N, cog, VGIs. There are 20 buttons that are used. They are checked and run in this order:
SUPPRESSED
EVALUATED
INVALIDATED
CAREFUL OF
DIDN'T REVEAL
NOT-IS-ED
SUGGESTED
MISTAKE BEEN MADE
PROTESTED
ANXIOUS ABOUT
DECIDED
WITHDRAWN FROM
REACHED
IGNORED
STATED
HELPED
ALTERED
REVEALED
ASSERTED
AGREED WITH
Example: Let's say the subject is 'Cats'. The first question would be: "On cats, has anything been suppressed?" If that reads you run it to F/N, cog, VGIs. Then you go on to the next button: "On cats, has anything been evaluated?", etc., etc.
The question has to be adjusted to fit the button, of
course. Examples:
"(Subject or time limiter) has anything been (button)?" or
"(Subject or time limiter) is there anything you have (been) (button)?"
(Ex: "On CATS is there anything you have been careful of?")
or
"(Subject or time limiter) is there anything you (button)?"
(Ex: "On CATS is there anything you didn't reveal?")
With the button 'Mistake Been Made', the command would be: "(Subject or time
limiter) has a mistake been made?"
(Ex: "On CATS has a mistake been made?")
0. The first step on a new preclear is to clear the words and procedure. You clear the definition of each button with a dictionary as needed.Step by Step
1. Clear the subject or time limiter you use in the
command.
2. Tell the pc you will check the first question on the Meter.
"On (cats) has anything been suppressed?"
(with a time limiter it would be "Since (October last year) has anything
been suppressed?")
You look for an instant read. If no instant read you take up the next button. You
only take up reading questions. If no read you go onto the next question right
away without awaiting an answer.
If the question reads you run it repetitively to F/N, cog, VGIs.
3. Check the next question, "On (cats) has anything been evaluated?" If instant read, take this to F/N, cog, VGIs.
4. In this manner you handle each Prep-check button. At
some point you will hit a major cog on the subject and a big win. That will be
your EP on the Prep-check.
You may run some or all the buttons before you hit the EP. Just be alert and
recognize it when it happens and end off the activity.
You just run each reading button to F/N, cog, VGI's repetitively.
If pc says he has no more answers and yet no F/N, it may be due to out rudiment
or some situation you can handle with TR-4. Find out what is going on but each
read should be taken to its EP.
Prep-checks tend to uncover out-ruds on the subject as it is designed to get the ruds in thoroughly in the area. If you uncover an ARC break, you handle it per 'Flying ruds' and do the Assessments on it (ARCU CDEINR and E/S to F/N). An F/N, VGIs on an ARC break handling would be the EP for that button. You go on to the next button as explained above.
Prep-checks are very effective in releasing charge and bringing relief. They are straightforward and simple to do. The buttons cover a series of types of decisions thetans make about things. It exposes a lot of angles, postulates and all kinds of considerations and out ruds around a subject and deals with it effectively.
