Drilling Processes
Doll Drills

Before any process is run the student auditor must complete the following:

1. Study the issues covering the process directly.
2. Do any word clearing needed.
3. Pass a star-rate checkout on the materials
4. Drill the process on a doll - unbullbaited.
5. Drill the process on a doll - bullbaited. 

1-3 are done per Study Manual.

Doll Drills are done in a session set-up with Meter and all needed materials at hand. The general format for drilling a process is:

Purpose: To drill the student in how to run Process XY in a real session.
 
Position: The student is seated at a table with full session set up. In the pc's chair is a doll. The coach sits next to the student (or next to the doll) and does coaching from there, supplying the doll with answers.

Commands: Student uses the commands of the process from the materials. The coach uses "Start", "That's it", and "Flunk" as in other drills. Flunks should be followed by showing student the written reference of what was violated. 
 
Instructions: The coach can use a pen to simulate Meter reads or use can squeeze to simulate reads. The coach uses 'fruit' answers, such as "it happened three apples ago"; or "my upset is, somebody ate my pear". Subjective answers are not allowed. The coach watches that TRs, Auditors Code and handling of the Meter are smooth at first then coaches the processes and procedure, still keeping an eye on basic auditing. Basic auditing out may take additional drilling of TRs and Meter drills. 

Unbullbaited: First the drill is done unbullbaited. The emphasis is on getting the procedure right. The student is not given difficult situations. When the student has the procedure down cold and can do it with good TRs and certainty this step is passed.

Bullbaited: Here the coach starts to introduce realistic situations that the student auditor will have to be able to handle in a real session. This is done on a gradient and drilled until the student can run the process in a realistic setting maintaining good session control, ARC and good TRs. 

When this is achieved the student auditor is passed and ready to take a pc in session and run the process for real. 

Drilling C/S Instructions
Due to the many processes and rundowns contained in The Road to Clear they are not all part of a checksheet at this point. Yet, an auditor can be called upon applying a specific process or rundown  to a pc. As long as the auditor has been checked out and drilled the action per 1-5 above he should be ready to go. He can do any action listed under a level he has already completed. The checksheets are thus at this point intended to cover a basic training route that brings the auditor's basic skill level up to a point where he easily can tackle any and all actions contained in The Road to Clear.

Student auditors do well in drilling each C/S instruction before taking a pc into session.
